Ch-ch-ch-changes!

It’s been a… week. It’s been a week. And things have changed between last week and this week.

To start with, the Heir to the Firstborn series will no longer be coming out from Book View Cafe. After a deeper read, they decided that it was not a good fit. We will be going forward with Swords of Charlemagne, but Heir to the Firstborn will remain in my hands.

Which means that the lovely new covers that I had made up are going to show up a lot sooner than I’d thought, and Children of Dreams will be coming out this year!

Now, I’m not showing you all the new covers. Not yet. And I still have to figure out how I’m doing the release schedule for the updates books, especially since I haven’t finished the edits. But I will show you the first one….

So on my current To-Do list, there are three editing projects, one writing project, and one planning project. Writing is The Sea Prince, which has been moving slowly because edits are a bit higher on my priority list.

The planning is a synopsis revision for something that’s been on the back burner. I can’t tell you what yet, because that would entail spoilers. But I’m getting ready to write a thing, either late this year or early next.

There’s been a lot going on around here recently, and I’m not at liberty to tell you any of it. But school is back in session, so I will hopefully have more time to get the things done that I need to do in order to get books out for you all to read!
